Formation of an integral and at the same time expressive building figure. The elliptical shape of the ice stadium is derived from a master plan featuring a central plaza, providing seating for 7,000 spectators and accessible through three access ramps. The entire structure is designed as a modular construction using steel and prefabricated concrete elements. This flexible construction approach was chosen to keep the option open for potential dismantling and reconstruction at another location.
