Concept for a pedestrian and bicycle bridge in the Maremma region. The design as a delicate and self-supporting arch bridge with lateral suspension systems allows for an optimal integration of the structure into the natural surroundings, as well as a sustainable and long-lasting construction method with an excellent cost-benefit ratio. The roadway and walkway are curved like a banana in plan view, further facilitating the seamless integration of the bridge into the natural terrain.
