The largest bicycle and pedestrian bridge in Italy. The design of the cable-stayed bridges allows for continuous 3D lines in both plan and elevation. This results in curved spatial planes that interact with the cable lines, creating an ever-changing charm from all perspectives and lighting conditions, giving the structure a clear and logical appearance. The supporting structure comprises a central, slightly inclined pylon with primary cables, from which secondary cables extend to support the two separate lanes for cyclists and pedestrians. The two distinctively curved conical surfaces formed by the cables resemble crossing sails, evoking a captivating image in the viewer's imagination.
