Concrete as a material for overall design. The new company headquarters for the engineering office "Holzner & Bertagnolli Engineering" is characterized by a generous and functional design, featuring a combination of reinforced concrete and glass. The building has a puristic and clear-lined appearance, with a "completely reduced" approach. Instead of covering the load-bearing structure, the reinforced concrete skeleton is exposed on the outside. The defining elements of the new building are the specially prefabricated and 11m high filigrane concrete columns without joints, which create a permeably light facade. The building's layout is determined by the site, resulting in a compact volume with one underground and three above-ground levels. The central access core houses a lift within the concrete core and an atrium, surrounded by offices and meeting rooms that offer a high level of working comfort and well-thought-out lines of sight.
