Brewery Forst

A solitaire that captures light and shadow. The external appearance of the building volume is characterised by its special shape and materials, which express the innovative technology and high-quality products of the FORST company. The basic element of the brewhouse, which consists of three building sections, is a concrete base partially embedded in the ground, which houses the building's plant technology and supports the two upper volumes. These are, on the one hand, the steel and glass pavilion in which the brewing kettles are housed and which can also be seen from the Bolzano-Venosta state road, and, on the other hand, the impenetrable silo house, hermetic and impenetrable, resembling a monolith or erratic block, whose titanium sheet cladding looks like a crystalline network.
